Sometime later, a small frame church replaced the log building. In 1893, a still larger frame church was built and the small one was used for a schoolhouse until 1925.
In 1953, the current church was built. Laurel Hill was a Methodist Protestant Church until merging with the Methodist Church in 1939. In 1968, the Methodist church joined with the Evangelical United Brethren Church to form the United Methodist Church.
We are proud to be a part of the United Methodist Church.
We have a paved parking lot with parking on each side of the building and handicap parking is available.
We have a blended service with both traditional and contemporary music.
We have communion once a month, usually on the 1st Sunday of the month. Our Communion table is open to all regardless of membership status or chuch affiliation.
Dress is casual. Be comfortable!
We offer Sunday School classes at 10:00am for all ages.
We also offer a Bible Study class via zoom every Wednesday evening from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM. Check with the church office for zoom instructions.
We have a special time during our worship service for the children, we call it Children’s Time.
We do have a nursery we can offer if guests need assistance.
Yes! Our youth group (ages 11-17) meets the 2nd Sunday of each month at 4:00pm.
